In accord with a tradition that goes back to the years immediately following the Second World War, a medal has recently been commissioned to commemorate Philip Attwood’s keepership of coins and medals at the British Museum from 2010 to 2020. The work of Danuta Solowiej, the medal has a Latin inscription on the edge along with initials identifying artist and sitter. It is being distributed under the auspices of BAMS.
