The Medal is published twice a year, in March and September, and includes articles on historical and contemporary medals, book reviews, international news items, and information on medals currently available from the British Art Medal Society. It is read in Europe, the United States, and around the world, by artists, collectors, art historians, and many others, and is retained for reference. The print run is in the region of 1,000. A section of advertisements is included at the back of each magazine.
